With a deep understanding of the complexities required in order to become a successful hotelier, the judges will evaluate the 20 different awards across various departments.
Jenny has over 30 years of experience in the Hospitality and Tourism industry, with roles in operations and management, including Catering/Events Manager, Professional Conference Organiser, Director of Sales and Marketing, Executive Assistant Manager, Hotel Manager and General Manager. Jenny’s current position is with leading real estate company JLL in Corporate Solutions as Director & Head of Workplace Experience Asia Pacific, she is responsible for the strategic development of market-leading hospitality offerings and the delivery of service solutions for global enterprises.
Julia has been a renowned leader in the hospitality architectural and design industry since 1978. She has been the recipient of the industry’s highest honors, including the prestigious Platinum Circle Award. Julia is a member of the AIA, IIDA, ULI and NEWH. She co-founded the New York chapter of the AIA Architecture of Hospitality Committee and is an active member of the ULI Asia Pacific Hospitality Committee and ULI WLI. She serves on the advisory boards of HD Magazine and Radical Innovation Award; teaches an annual course at Harvard Graduate School of Design; judges for The Hoteliers Awards and AHEAD; and, speaks as an industry panelist and keynote speaker.
Leon is the Former Vice President of Alibaba-Fliggy and focuses on the luxury and international hotel industry. Before joining Fliggy, he was the President of Minyoun Hospitality, in charge of hotel investment strategies, brand development and operations. Minyoun Hospitality holds investments in China, France and around South East Asia, managing over thirty luxury hotels. Leon has extensive experience in the hospitality sector and is currently undergoing a PHD program at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
In his former role at Les Roches Jin Jiang, Dr. Sacha Stöcklin wss responsible for maintaining the college’s standards of excellence at the Shanghai campus and upholding the high expectations of a Swiss education in hospitality. Before joining Les Roches Jin Jiang, Dr. Stöcklin was Program Manager at Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Bluche, Switzerland. In addition, he has taught at other prestigious hospitality colleges in Switzerland.Dr. Stöcklin is a Certified Hospitality Educator and holds a Doctorate in Education (EdD) with a focus on Educational Management. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Management, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel, Restaurant and Resort Management.
Dai Bin is the President of China Tourism Academy and the Director of the National Tourism Data Center. Dai Bin also serves as a Director for the Academic Committee; referee of the National Tourist Hotel Star Rating Committee, academic member of the ‘Tourism Tribune’; and editor of ‘China Tourism Hotel’.Dai Bin’s research focuses on tourism business management and tourism industrial economics. He has published more than 300 academic papers and 30 published monographs, translations and textbooks. He has hosted over 70 different projects involving the development and enhancement of China’s tourism industry, China’s economic operation and development forecast, and nation-wide investigations into tourist satisfaction.
